The synopsis for the film reads:
In a brutal, seemingly random attack Daniel Shergold’s life falls apart. His wife Maria is murdered, his spine is broken; and when the night is over a life of loneliness and disability begins. The intrusion of breezy home carer Fiona provides company, but fails to let any light into his world. Only the arrival of enigmatic stranger Infurnari can do that – but it is from a dark place that he comes.
Infurnari offers Daniel something hadn’t dared hope for, something that shouldn’t even be possible. He will help him walk, help him search, help him find vengeance – and it soon becomes clear that Maria’s murder wasn’t entirely without purpose. All this, but at one hell of a price...
