James Gunn On The Short List To Direct "The Guardians Of The Galaxy"

Bleeding Cool brings us word that Marvel Entertainment's short list of directors for this film has Gunn, whose resume includes "Dawn Of The Dead" (2004) and "Slither" (2006).

Marvel have selected James Gunn as their man to take charge of The Guardians of the Galaxy. He has appropriate experience in the sense that Super and The Specials were comic book films, of sorts, and Slither was full of aliens.

No word on when the film is scheduled to hit theaters or any casting news at this time.
