According our sources a good portion of the film will take place on a war torn Krypton. With this new info that means we can expect to see a lot of Russell Crowe as Superman's biological father Jor-El. There are no details on exactly how much time will be spent on the planet or on the war its self, we are also told to be on the look out for other happenings there as well.So we'll get more Russell Crowe than we did Marlon Brando in the Christopher Reeve film. And we'll get to see more of the planet of origin, and possibly more insight into General Zod, who is being played by Michael Shannon.
The film is scheduled to hit theaters on 14 June 2013.
