Episode 12 - Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things

This week I review the classic 70s zombie movie, "Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things".

I record this week's episode from a cold, desolate island in the middle of choppy seas during a storm. Mood is everything!

We also officially kick off the Little Dead Death Pool.

I play our first listener comment from the Little Dead Comment Line! Someone likes us!

Episode 11.2 - A Little Dead Comic Book Update (for 29 August 2009)

Man oh man, Windows is t3h suxx0r! Ashcrow and McPierce started recording when, all of a sudden, Windows decided "Yeah, you're busy doing a podcasat, but I'm going to reboot on you. You don't mind, do you? KTHXBAI!"

So, anyway, this week McPierce rambles on about some weird stuff, but what else is new? Ashcrow talks a little about his mancrush on Dick Grayson as the new Batman. But, not to be out-mancrushed, McPierce then goes on (and on and on) about Heath Ledger and Jack Nickolson as dueling Jokers. Then Ashcrow brings it all home with an overview of Batman: Arkham Asylum on the PS3.

And then Ashcrow finds out that, yeah, Bane *IS* a bad guy.

This week Ashcrow bought:

Ex Machina #44
Flash Rebirth #4
Green Lantern #45
Blackest Night: titans 1 of 3
Batman and Robin #3
X-Force 18
Final Crisis Aftermath: Ink 4 of 6

This week McPierce bought:

Tales Of The Corps 1 & 2
Halo: Helljumpers 2
Blackest Night: Titans 1

What started out as a simple episode to discuss Captain America Reborn #2, Deadpool: Merc With A Mouth #2 and The Walking Dead Vol. 10 turned into a long discussion about trade paper backs, book colors and how Marvel and DC copy each others' heroes.

Good times! Good times! :)

This week I watched "30 Days Of Night" starring Josh Hartnett and Melissa George. I then read the origin comic book series, plus the extras in the trade paperback, and compared the two.
